07.03.18The Forum: Binghamton’s Home for the Arts

From the respective magic and menace of the Binghamton Orchestra’s rendering of “Scheherazade” and “Psycho,” to the thrilling performance of the Tri-City Opera’s “Madama Butterfly” and the “H.M.S. Pinafore,” to an array of dazzling concerts, live comedy, and additional entertainment, the Forum Theatre offers it all. In addition to events such as “Serling Fest,” a combination of a tribute to the area’s favorite son, the 50th anniversary of “Planet of the Apes,” and a celebration of the 35th anniversary of the “Twilight Zone: The Movie,” the Forum hosts such luminaries as Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band, Jeff Dunham in his “Passively Aggressive Tour,” and the wildly popular Broadway in Binghamton series.

It’s little wonder that the Forum is referred to as “Greater Binghamton’s Premiere Event Destination.” Previous shows include “The King and I,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Finding Neverland,” and “Chicago” from the Broadway in Binghamton series, the Philharmonic’s presentation of “Wagner’s Ring Cycle in One Night,” and, for the little ones, “Disney Junior Dance Party Tour.” Subscription packages for any of the series are also available, with multiple dates and times.
